I'm Felix Kufus, Advisor for Digital Peacemaking & Emerging Technologies at CMI – Martti Ahtisaari Peace Foundation. I've worked on digital methods for peace processes at CMI since 2021 - first as Programme Officer for Digital Peacemaking, now as Advisor - with time in between at the UN Department of Peace Operations, working on remote engagement and early warning, and before that at the UN DPPA Innovation Cell.
I hold an MA in Mediation & Conflict Studies from Viadrina and an MSc in Comparative Politics from the LSE, and I'm a certified mediator. I design and code the tools on this site myself.
This site is a working notebook of that practice: tools you can watch run, the methods underneath them, and the research they rest on. It isn't a pitch - it's meant to show, concretely, what qualitative depth at quantitative scale looks like. If any of it is useful to your work, I'd be glad to talk.
